Prescriptions

We employ five in-house pharmacists who manage the prescribing and medication reviews at both surgeries.  Each pharmacist has an area of clinical expertise.

Many patients on regular medication can request repeat prescriptions without the need for an appointment and we accept prescription requests through this website.

Our preferred method of requesting a prescription is the use of On-line services where you can also make appointments and review your medical records if agreed with your GP.

Patients who are new to the surgery will need to be seen by a doctor before they will be able to get any regular prescriptions prescribed by us.  Please bring any repeat prescriptions with you from your previous surgery when you attend for this appointment.

All prescription requests must be made in writing and please allow three working days for us to prepare your prescription.  We DO NOT take prescription requests over the telephone, in the interest of patient safety.

We are very happy to deal with requests by post and, if you enclose a stamped-addressed envelope, we will send your prescription back to you.
